At QVIS Monitoring, we are looking for a pro-active Alarm Receiving Operator to join our team in our 24 hour Monitoring Centre.

We are looking for an individual who has experience handling alarms or monitoring CCTV, or within the security field.

The role operates on a shift basis: four days on, four days off followed by four nights on, four nights off.

We are a highly accredited alarm receiving control centre and pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards.

Our most important objective is to provide our clients with a personal service and a wealth of support. All staff are trained in customer service and will be responsible for answering all calls personally, none of our services are outsourced.

We offer ongoing training and development to ensure all staff are confident in their roles with up to date knowledge, expertise and awareness of the security sector. Our managers and team leaders provide ongoing training and support to the team.

Skills Required

What you'll be doing:

• Alarm handling and CCTV Operating on our bespoke software
• PC data entry and basic administration duties
• Editing and handling customer records
• Following procedures methodically and upholding excellent standards
• Dealing with customer requests via telephone and email in a professional nature

What we need from you:

• Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
• The ideal candidate must have exceptional concentration, good attention to detail and will possess excellent customer service skills
• Good organisation and efficiency as you will be expected to multi-task and remain focused for long periods of time
• To be well presented and professional with the ability to work under pressure and remain calm
• Able to evaluate a situation under pressure using good judgement skills
• Holding an SIA Security Licence or SIA CCTV Licence is advantageous, but not essential

*On successful appointment to the role, you will be expected to complete an online screening check (BS7858) – the fee for the screening will be deducted and paid back to you as follows: an initial £54 will be deducted from your first months wages, and a second £54 will be deducted from your second months wages and the full £108 will be refunded in your third months wages.

Salary: £17,500 - £21,500 per annum (depending on experience)
