Position Overview
Qvis Lighting and Security Ltd is looking for a talented and experienced technical manager to work in our head office in Havant, this role is crucial to the growth of our CCTV business to ensure we give an excellent service to our customers and sell cutting edge leading products.
Role Profile
- • Pro-Actively manage technical support team supporting trade installers and distribution customers via telephone, email and web chat
- • Oversee the RMA repairs department, ensuring procedures are followed and returns are repaired in a timely and correct manner.
- • Oversee the Returns administration department.
- • Manage product testing and product specifications
- • Oversee the technical aspects of the production department
- • Prevent and resolve technical issues as or before they arise.
- • Customer site visits to resolve technical issues
- • Assist the ARC (Alarm receiving centre) with technical issues
- • Implement procedures and structure to continually improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
- • Undertake product training for staff and customers
- • Responsible for ongoing development of technical team
- • Contribute influence in evaluation of new product implementation and market fit
Personal Profile
- • Proven track record of managing a CCTV technical support department
- • Ability to prioritise workloads
- • Ability to work under pressure
- • Excellent communicator
- • To work extra hours to suit business needs if any problems arise
- • Valid driving licence
